Job summary

Resolve Recruitment Services is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for day shifts in the Daventry area. Ongoing work with a well-established logistics operation, with a supportive transport team and a modern fleet.

Minimum 18 months HGV Class 1 experience, full UK C+E licence, Driver CPC, and Tachograph Card are required. Roles entail nationwide deliveries with safety and compliance at the forefront, and long-term employment prospects.

Qualifications

• Full UK C+E (Class 1) licence with minimal or no penalty points.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• At least 18 months’ HGV Class 1 driving experience.
• Strong understanding of UK driving laws and road networks.

Responsibilities

• Carry out nationwide deliveries and collections safely and efficiently.
• Perform pre- and post-shift vehicle inspections and report any issues.
• Keep accurate records of driving hours, mileage, and delivery documentation.
• Communicate effectively with the transport office regarding delays or incidents.
• Ensure all goods are transported securely and in line with legal requirements.
• Represent the business professionally while delivering excellent customer service.
