Job summary

Resolve Recruitment Services is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for day and night shifts. You will work with a leading UK logistics provider offering reliable transport solutions and ongoing opportunities.

Roles include driving across the UK, performing pre/post-trip checks, and keeping precise logs of driving hours and mileage while maintaining safety and high service levels.

Qualifications

• Valid UK C+E (Class 1) driving licence with minimal or no penalty points.
• Up‑to‑date Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 18 months’ HGV driving experience.
• Experience in general haulage is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently transport goods across the UK, adhering to planned routes and schedules.
• Carry out thorough pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, driving hours, and mileage.
• Communicate effectively with the logistics team regarding delays or issues.
• Ensure loads are secure and compliant with legal and industry standards.
• Deliver excellent customer service, representing the company professionally.
