Job summary

AIT Home Delivery UK Limited is seeking experienced Class 1 (CE) HGV Drivers for regular day work within our Logistics team in the United Kingdom.

The role focuses on depot-to-depot trunking, with routine vehicle inspections and accurate transport records to keep stock moving across our network.

Qualifications

• Class 1 (CE) HGV Licence and at least 12 months CE driving experience.
• Driver CPC Qualification Card and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence.
• Able to comply with Drivers' Hours Regulations and tachograph requirements.
• Demonstrated safety and vehicle-care discipline.

Responsibilities

• Trunking between company depots and distribution centres.
• Carry out routine vehicle inspections and complete transport records.
• Maintain safe working practices and contribute to transport function efficiency.
• Ensure deliveries are completed safely, efficiently and on time.

We're seeking experienced Class 1 (CE) HGV Drivers to join our Logistics team.

This is a day trunking position involving scheduled movements between company depots and distribution centres. You will play an important part in keeping stock moving across our network, ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.

What Does the Role Involve?

The position centres on depot-to-depot trunking, supported by routine vehicle inspections, accurate completion of transport records, and adherence to all relevant transport legislation. You'll be expected to take pride in the condition of your vehicle, maintain safe working practices, and contribute to the smooth running of the transport function.

To be considered, you'll need to answer 'Yes' to the following:

• Are you 23 years of age or older?
• Do you hold a valid Class 1 (CE) HGV Licence and have at least 12 months' CE driving experience?
• Do you hold a valid Driver CPC Qualification Card and Digital Tachograph Card?
• Do you have no more than 6 penalty points on your driving licence?
• Are you confident working within Drivers' Hours Regulations and tachograph requirements?
• Do you take a responsible approach to safety, vehicle care, and legal compliance?
