Job summary

TSR in the Southampton area is seeking a professional HGV Class 1 Driver to join our logistics team. You will transport goods across UK routes, ensuring on-time deliveries and maintaining excellent customer service.

We offer day, night and tramper shifts with potential weekend work; this role supports our reputable clients in the Southampton area. A reliable driver with a clean licence and CPC is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (HGV 1) Licence and CPC Digital Tachograph required.
• Minimum 12 months HGV driving experience in the UK.
• Clean licence with no major offences (≤6 points, no DD/IN/TT/DR).

Responsibilities

• Follow efficient routes to ensure timely collection and distribution of goods.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues.
• Load/unload and secure cargo safely for transit.
• Maintain delivery documentation and logs accurately.
• Communicate with dispatchers, clients and team about schedules and delays.
• Adhere to driving hours and health and safety regulations.
