Job summary

ProRec are seeking HGV Class 1 drivers in the Bridgwater area for day, night or Tramper work. Roles are ongoing with Adhoc, Temp or temp-to-perm options and umbrella or LTD/self-employed accepted.

You will deliver across the UK, keep loads secure, perform safety checks and complete paperwork. PAYE and other pay options are available; day/tramp: £16.34 PAYE or £20.00 per hour (LTD/Umbrella); night: £18.72 PAYE or £21.00 per hour (LTD/Umbrella).

Qualifications

• Tramper experience preferred.
• Valid Class 1 licence required (12 months minimum).
• CPC Card and Digi Tachograph card required.
• Licence with no more than 6 points for insurance purposes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver to schedules and timescales.
• Maintain vehicle and secure loads.
• Perform daily safety checks and complete transport paperwork.

THIS ROLE IS AN ONGOING HGV 1 Tramper role

What does the role involve?

As HGV 1 Tramper Driver, you will be working in a safety critical role and be responsible for delivering to a schedule and working to timescales. You will be required to maintain good care of your vehicle, ensure all loads are secured, perform daily safety checks, and keep transport documents and paperwork updated.

Working Hours and Pay

Monday to Friday Day Drivers - Tanker work

Monday to Friday Night Drivers - Tanker work

Monday to Friday/Saturday Tramping shift pattern - General Haulage

Sunday to Thursday/Friday Tramping shift pattern - General Haulage

Pay for days and Tramping (Plus £25 per night out tax-free) via Umbrella or LTD = £20.00 PER HOUR (LTD or Self-Employed accepted)ORPAYE Pay is £16.34 including holiday pay

Pay for Nights via Umbrella or LTD = £21.00 PER HOUR (LTD or Self-Employed accepted)OR PAYE Pay is £18.72 including holiday pay

• * Valid Class 1 licence for 12 months minimum
