Job summary

Morrisons Northampton RDC is recruiting permanent HGV Class 1 drivers to support our general haulage operations. This role suits drivers who take pride in safe driving, excellent customer service and dependable deliveries, with shifts across days and nights.

Roles are full time with various patterns from 5 out of 7, and pay rates range by shift, including day, night, weekend and bank holiday rates. You will perform pre-checks, follow hours rules and work closely with the transport team.

Qualifications

• Valid C+E licence required.
• DCPC & Tachograph cards required.
• No more than 6 points; no DD/DR convictions.
• Understand Driver hours and WTD legislation.

Responsibilities

• General haulage with curtainside trailers to distribution centres and stores.
• Well planned multi-drop deliveries.
• Completing all necessary vehicle checks and documentation.
• Maintaining high levels of safety, compliance and professionalism.
• Adhere to Driver's hours, WTD and tachograph legislation.
