Job summary

Pertemps Milton Keynes are recruiting HGV Class 1 Day Drivers for ongoing work based in Northampton. This role offers day shifts, start times between 04:30 and 07:00, and regular, ongoing work with weekly pay.

New drivers welcome and competitive rates apply (£19.93/h standard, £24.54/h weekends). You’ll perform multi-drop deliveries across the region, load and unload when required, complete daily vehicle checks, and keep paperwork accurate while providing a professional service and complying

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
• Driver CPC Qualification Card.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Maximum 6 penalty points.
• No DD, DR, TT or CU endorsements.
• Professional and reliable approach.

Responsibilities

• Multi-drop deliveries across the region.
• Delivering goods safely and on time.
• Loading and unloading where required.
• Completing daily vehicle checks.
• Ensuring delivery paperwork is completed correctly.
• Providing a professional service to customers.
