Job summary

Pertemps Royal Mail is seeking an HGV Class 1 (C+E) driver for Crick. You will trunk mail between Royal Mail depots, perform routine vehicle checks, and follow planned routes with safety and professionalism.

Shifts include morning, evening and weekends with weekly pay, holiday accrual and pension. Traffic-safe, nationwide trunking support from a trusted national brand.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 / C+E licence (held for 1+ years).
• In-date CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• 180+ days of Class 1 driving in the last 12 months; max 6 points; able to pass vetting & DBS checks.

Responsibilities

The Job

• Trunking between Royal Mail depots
• No handballing — just organised, planned routes
• Morning, evening and weekend shifts available

Key Responsibilities

• Transport mail between national sites
• Complete vehicle checks and uphold top-tier safety
• Follow scheduled routes with precision
• Represent Royal Mail with professionalism on every run

What You Need

• Valid HGV Class 1 / C+E licence (held for 1+ years)
• A valid and in date CPC + Digital Tachograph card
• 180+ days of Class 1 driving experience in the last 1 year
• Max 6 points on your licence
• Able to pass vetting & DBS checks
