Job summary

Pertemps Royal Mail is seeking skilled HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers to support trunking across UK depots. This temporary/ongoing role offers mornings, evenings and weekend shifts with consistent hours and weekly pay.

You will drive between Royal Mail depots, perform vehicle checks, and represent the brand with professionalism. Requirements include valid HGV1/C+E license, CPC and tachograph card, and up to 6 points.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid HGV Class 1/C+E licence (1+ year experience).
• Must hold a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• At least 180 days of Class 1 driving in the last 2 years.
• Maximum 6 points on licence and able to pass vetting & DBS checks.

Responsibilities

• Transport mail between national Royal Mail depots.
• Complete vehicle checks and uphold safety standards.
• Follow scheduled routes with precision and efficiency.
• Represent Royal Mail professionally on every run.

The Job

• Trunking between Royal Mail depots

What You Need

• Valid HGV Class 1 / C+E licence (held for 1+ years)
• A valid and in date CPC + Digital Tachograph card
• 180+ days of Class 1 driving experience in the last 2 years
• Max 6 points on your licence
• Able to pass vetting & DBS checks
