Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking qualified HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers to support nationwide trunking from East Midlands Airport. The role offers temporary/ongoing work with planned routes, plus morning, evening and weekend shifts. You will conduct vehicle checks and represent Royal Mail with professionalism on every run.

Ideal candidates hold a Class 1 licence with 1+ years' experience, a valid CPC and Tachograph card, and a clean driving history. Vetting and DBS clearances are required for consideration.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 / C+E licence held for 1+ years.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph card valid and in date.
• 180+ days Class 1 driving in last 2 years; max 6 points on licence.
• Able to pass vetting and DBS checks.

Responsibilities

• No handballing — organised routes.
• Morning, evening and weekend shifts available.
• Complete vehicle checks and uphold top safety.
• Follow scheduled routes with precision.
• Represent Royal Mail with professionalism on every run.
