Job summary

Ignition Driver Recruitment is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers for multi-drop deliveries in Biggleswade. This role includes tail lift work with cages weighing 320+ kg across ambient, chill, and frozen environments, with immediate starts available and ongoing support.

You must have a UK Class 1 licence and at least 6 months of experience, a valid digital tachograph card, and a professional, safety-conscious attitude. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• UK Class 1 (C+E) licence valid for driving heavy goods vehicles.
• Minimum 6 months' commercial Class 1 experience required.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Professional attitude with a focus on safety and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Tail lift work and handling cages (ambient, chill, frozen).
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Deliver with safety, professionalism, and on time.
• Comply with Driver Hours, Working Time and RT Regulations.
• Complete all relevant paperwork and electronic records accurately.
