Job summary

Pertemps Scotland on behalf of BOC is seeking an HGV Class 1 ADR driver based in Motherwell to transport high‑risk cryogenic gases to industrial and medical clients. You will operate tankers, interact with customers, and may work occasional nights.

The role requires a valid HGV Class 1 licence with 3+ years of experience, Driver CPC, ADR Tanks, tanker driving knowledge, and strict safety practices. Site driving assessment and paid training are provided upon successful completion.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 licence with at least 3 years of driving experience
• Driver CPC (DQC)
• ADR Class 2 (Tanks)
• Tanker driving experience
• No more than 3 penalty points on licence
• Knowledge of tachograph legislation and safety best practices
• Must complete site driving assessment and client interview; paid site-specific training on success

Responsibilities

• Bulk delivery: transport liquefied cryogenic gases to industrial and medical clients
• Safety compliance with hazardous materials and tanker procedures
• Conducting daily vehicle checks and logging tachograph data
