Job summary

Thames Water in Oxford is recruiting a Class 1 HGV Driver to join our Logistics Delivery team. You will drive potable water tankers, support reactive and planned work, and project a customer-focused image on the road.

You will work 38.5 hours per week on a 4 on, 4 off cycle with days/nights, earning £44,141 or £38,842 depending on shift. Full training and a comprehensive benefits package are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Class 1 HGV Driver.
• A Full Driver CPC and a valid Tachograph card.
• Knowledge of Transport Law and Working Time regulations.
• Happy with rotational shifts (days/nights).

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV 1 and HGV 2 vehicles (manual/automatic).
• Represent Thames Water with a customer-focused approach on the road.
• Follow processes and procedures to support reactive and planned work.
• Learn to take water samples before loading and discharging into hydrants or reservoirs.
