Job summary

Great Bear in Lutterworth is looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our team, delivering palletised goods to key customers on a 24/7 operation.

This is a permanent, full-time role with 4 on 4 off nights, starting from 12.00 am and around 40.25 hours per week. A valid C+E licence and at least 12 months' experience are required; expect up to 6 points on your licence and a commitment to safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid C+E Licence and at least 12 months' HGV Class 1 driving experience.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no DD or DR codes on licence.
• Current DCPC and Tachograph cards held.

Responsibilities

• Carry out safe, professional deliveries to customer premises.
• Complete palletised general haulage deliveries to regional centres.
• Support occasional tipping or multi-drop deliveries as needed.
• Possibly night-out deliveries; report delays or load issues promptly.
• Complete paperwork and ensure PODs are signed and returned.
• Follow health, safety and tachograph rules; perform daily vehicle checks.
