Job summary

Culina is recruiting permanent HGV Class 1 drivers to join our team at the Unilever site in Leeds for our general haulage operation. You will be responsible for store and RDC deliveries across the region, with a strong focus on safety, customer service and reliable delivery standards.

The role operates on a 4 on 4 off pattern, with options for night shifts. We offer competitive hourly rates and a comprehensive package including a meal allowance per shift and other employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid C+E licence and ideally at least 6 months HGV Class 1 experience.
• No more than 6 points and no DD/ DR convictions.
• Hold a current DCPC & Tachograph cards.
• Understand and carry out driver hours and WTD legislation.
• Able to understand and carry out vehicle checks and report defects correctly.
• Should comply with on-site health and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• General Haulage with Curtainside trailers to distribution centres and stores.
• Support general work, including occasional store deliveries and loading/unloading cages.
• Complete all necessary vehicle checks and documentation.
• Maintain high levels of safety, compliance and professionalism.
• Work closely with transport team to ensure smooth operations.
• Adhere to Drivers hours, WTD and tachograph legislation.
