Job summary

Culina Group is recruiting permanent HGV Class 1 drivers to join our customer site at Unilever in Leeds for our General Haulage operation. The role involves store and RDC deliveries across the region, with a 4 on 4 off shift pattern and night options.

You will drive curtainside trailers, perform vehicle checks, and uphold safety standards. The role is full-time with a 4 on 4 off pattern and potential night shifts.

Responsibilities

• General Haulage with Curtainside trailers to Distribution Centres and Stores
• Support General work including occasional store deliveries and loading/unloading cages
• Complete all necessary vehicle checks and documentation
• Maintain high levels of safety, compliance, and professionalism
• Work closely with the transport team to ensure smooth operations
• Adhere to Driver’s hours, WTD, and tachograph legislation

Job description

We are recruiting permanent HGV Class 1 drivers to join us at our customer Site Unilever in Leeds, for our General Haulage operation, completing store and RDC deliveries across the region. This role is ideal for a HGV driver who takes pride in safe driving, excellent customer service and dependable delivery standards.

The role is full time, working on a permanent basis and will be working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern and we have opportunities working Nights:

• Night Shift 18:00

Pay Rates:

We have increased our pay rates, with rates now ranging from £16.35 to £18.96 per hour, depending on shift - giving you even more reason to build your driving career with us.

• Mon-Fri Nights- £16.35per hour
• Satand SunNights- £18.65per hour
• Bank Holidays - £18.96per hour.

On top of base salary our HGV Drivers will be entitled to £5 per shift tax-free meal allowance

Driver Responsibilities:

• General Haulage with Curtainside trailers, to Distribution Centres and Stores
• Supporting General work, including occasional store deliveries and requirement to load and unload cages
• Completing all necessary vehicle checks and documentation
• Maintaining high levels of safety, compliance, and professionalism
