Job summary

Culina is hiring experienced HGV Class 1 drivers for our chilled distribution operations based in Evesham. This permanent full-time role offers a structured 4 on 4 off night shift pattern, delivering to major UK retail distribution centres across the country.

Average shifts are long but consistent, with opportunities to increase earnings through additional shifts. You will maintain high safety standards, complete paperwork, and comply with tachograph rules while providing professional customer

Qualifications

• Must hold LGV Class 1 licence and CPC qualification.
• Knowledge of Road Transport Directive and drivers’ hours.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and prioritise workload.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out chilled distribution deliveries to main retail RDCs nationwide
• Delivering to key customer sites including major UK retailers
• Completing self-tip deliveries where required, including breaking down pallets
• Collecting equipment or returns from customer locations and bringing them back to site
• Report to the Transport team at the start of each shift and update on delays or load discrepancies
• Complete all paperwork accurately and ensure PODs are signed and returned
• Follow company procedures including health, safety and hygiene standards
• Manage working time in line with the Road Transport Directive and tachograph rules
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects, taking responsibility for the unit and trailer
• Maintain professional behaviour, appearance and customer service at all times

Permanent Full Time Role

We’re looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our chilled distribution operation based in Evesham. This is a fantastic opportunity for drivers who want a structured 4 on 4 off Night shift pattern, regular work and the chance to be part of a busy, established transport operation delivering to major retail distribution centres across the UK.

This is a permanent role offering full-time stability for HGV Class 1 drivers who will be responsible for RDC deliveries. You’ll be joining a supportive transport team where safe driving, reliable service and high professional standards are valued every day

Average shifts are around 11 hours, depending on route and operational requirements, and additional shifts may be available for drivers who want to increase their earnings.

What you’ll be doing

• Carrying out chilled distribution deliveries to main retail RDCs nationwide
• Delivering to key customer sites including major UK retailers
• Completing self-tip deliveries where required, including breaking down pallets at certain sites.
• Collecting equipment or returns from customer locations and bringing them back to site.
• Report to the Transport team at the start of each shift and keep them updated on delays, delivery issues or load discrepancies.
• Complete all paperwork accurately and ensure PODs are signed and returned to the Transport Office.
• Follow company procedures, including health, safety and hygiene standards.
• Manage your working time in line with the Road Transport Directive and tachograph rules.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects correctly and take responsibility for your unit and trailer, including temperature checks where required.
• Maintain a professional standard of behaviour, appearance and customer service at all times.

Qualifications

• Possessionof LGV Class 1 Licence
• Current CPC
• Knowledge of Road Transport Directive and current drivers’ hours.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
• Effectively prioritise workload in order to meet set deadline
