Job summary

Tradebe Environmental Services is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 driver to join our day-shift team on a 4 on 4 off pattern. Start times range from 4am–6am and the role focuses on collecting clinical waste from Acute Hospitals and Transfer Stations.

You will perform vehicle checks, ensure loads are secure, drive in accordance with the Highway Code and ADR law, and communicate any delays or safety concerns to the team.

Qualifications

• Hold the correct HGV licence (C+E or C) for the position.
• Valid CPC and Digital tachograph cards.
• Understanding of EU Driver & Working time laws.

Responsibilities

• Safely collect, load, unload, and segregate customers waste.
• Carry out vehicle checks, ensure loads are secure, report defects and maintain vehicles.
• Drive professionally in full compliance with Highway Code and ADR law.
• Communicate delays, issues or safety concerns to management and team.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.
