Job summary

KPI Recruiting Ltd are seeking an HGV Class 1 Driver for our client based in Bury St Edmunds, offering ADHOC or shift work across the UK. The role includes loading and unloading when required and may involve HIAB where trained.

You will drive state-of-the-art vehicles, enjoy weekly pay, and have the chance for ongoing shifts with potential temp-to-perm opportunities. Valid HGV Class 1 licence, CPC, Digi and HIAB are required.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 licence with CPC and Digi tachograph.
• No IN, DD, DR endorsements on licence.
• Hi-Vis and safety boots required.
• Willingness to load/unload when needed.

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV Class 1 vehicle across the country to depots.
• Load and unload goods as required.
• Follow safety procedures and comply with driving regulations.

KPI Recruiting are looking for a HGV Class 1 Driver for our client based in Bury St Edmunds. Our client is a leading provider in the delivery industry within the UK, with state-of-the-art vehicles and services provided! Our client is looking to add to their pool of HGV Class 1 drivers as they continue to grow and expand their team.

Job description for a HGV Class 1 Driver:

• ADHOC or Shift work available
• Morning, Afternoon or Night Shift
• £15.80 per hour
• Ongoing and temp to perm opportunities
• Average of an 8 hour day
• Year-round positions
• Opportunity for overtime
• Drivers' benefits include - weekly pay, additional shifts within KPI driving contacts available, use of state-of-the-art vehicles.

Your role will include driving the HGV Class 1 vehicle across the country, delivering to different Depots across the UK. you will be required to load and unload when needed so handball can be involved.

Rates for a HGV Class 1 Driver(PAYE) -

• £15.80 per hour days
• £18.07 per hour nights

The ideal candidate for a HGV Class 1 Driver will need the following:

• All up to date driving licence, CPC and Digi along with HIAB licence
• No IN, DD, DR endorsements on licence
• Hi vis and safety boots
