Job summary

HG Recruitment is seeking HGV1 Drivers to join our 24/7 depots in Wellingborough. You will deliver products to national supermarkets and convenience stores, handling caged loads and operating delivery tech, with multi-drops within the depot region.

Shifts are any 5 out of 7, with start times between 06:00 and 15:00. Night premiums apply (18:00–06:00) and weekend premiums (Fri 22:00–Sun 22:00). Flexibility, safety and customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal English
• Excellent communication skills and reliability
• Proficient in basic Microsoft Office tools such as Excel and Word

• Own the safe and timely delivery of products

Hourly pay rate:

• £18.37p/h
• £2.56premium p/hfor hours worked between 18:00-06:00
• £1.92premium p/hfor hours worked between Friday 22:00-Sunday 22:00

Our depot operates24 hours per day / 7 days per weekincludingweekends and bank holidays,so it is essential that you areflexible.

You will be delivering products tonational supermarkets and convenience stores. Products will be incagessocage manoeuvringis required, it is therefore essential thatapplicants can carry out these duties.

• Operation of point of delivery technology, the completion of driver checks and documentation.
• Carrying out multi-drops within depot region.

Experience & Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class 1 Licence
• Must hold a valid DCPC Card
• Must hold a Digi Card
• Must not have more than 6 points on your licence
• A flexible approach to working patterns and start times to meet business needs
• Motivated and committed with high personal and professional standards
• Possess excellent communication skills, understand and follow both verbal and written information.
• Able to work within set timescales to meet customers service requirements.
