Job summary

Pertemps are seeking HGV Class 1 (C+E) and Class 2 (C) drivers for ongoing and upcoming opportunities in the Wakefield area. The roles offer day and night shifts with flexible start times and patterns to suit your schedule.

Requirements include a valid HGV Class 1 or 2 licence, CPC & Digi Tacho, and up to six penalty points. Experience is preferred but not essential for all positions, with work across Wakefield and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 or 2 licence.
• Valid CPC & Digi Tacho card.
• No more than 6 penalty points (no major endorsements).
• Minimum experience preferred but not essential for all roles.

Responsibilities

• Trunking and RDC work as required.
• General haulage tasks across Wakefield area.
• Curtain sider handling and load securing.
• Manual handling/handball where applicable.

HGV Class 1 & Class 2 Drivers - Wakefield Area

Pertemps are currently looking to speak with HGV Class 1 (C+E) and Class 2 (C) drivers for a variety of ongoing and upcoming opportunities across the Wakefield and surrounding areas.

What's on offer

Class 1 pay: £16.00 - £22.00 per hour

Class 2 pay: £14.00 - £18.00 per hour

• Day and night shifts available
• Various start times to suit
• Flexible shift patterns (full-time, part-time, weekends, tramping)

Types of work may include

• Trunking and RDC work
• General haulage
• Curtain sider work
• Some roles may involve manual handling/handball
• Load securing (e.g. strapping)

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence
• Valid CPC & Digi Tacho card
• No more than 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)
