Job summary

Culina Group is recruiting permanent HGV Class 1 drivers to join our Carlisle depot to support our General Haulage operation, completing store and RDC deliveries across the region. This role is ideal for a driver who takes pride in safe driving, excellent customer service and dependable delivery standards.

You’ll be delivering to RDCs and retail stores, doing store collections for deliveries to factories, occasionally loading and unloading, performing daily vehicle checks and transport

Responsibilities

• Delivering to RDCs, distribution centres and retail stores across the region
• Store collections for delivery to factories and distribution centres
• Occasional loading and unloading of cages as part of store delivery activities
• Completing daily vehicle checks and transport documentation
• Maintaining high standards of safety, compliance and professionalism
• Working closely with the Transport Team to ensure efficient service delivery
• Adhering to Drivers’ Hours, Working Time Directive and Tachograph legislation at all times

Pay Rates

Day Shift Rates

• Monday to Friday Days – £14.60 per hour
• Saturday & Sunday Days – £17.60 per hour
