Job summary

HG Recruitment is seeking reliable HGV Class 1 drivers for Thurrock with immediate starts. The role involves store deliveries, 2–4 drops per shift, with shifts starting between 07:00 and 17:00. Ongoing work and regular scheduling are provided.

Drivers will load and unload using a tail lift and earn competitive pay. Essential requirements include a valid UK HGV Class 1 licence, Driver CPC and Tachograph card, and no more than 6 points on licence.

Qualifications

• Valid UK HGV Class 1 licence (minimum 6 months).
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• At least 6 months of HGV driving experience.
• Good knowledge of drivers’ hours and Working Time rules.

• Sunday 18:00 - 03:59 Monday £26.57
• Overtime Days 04:00 to 17:59 Monday to Friday £38.56
• Overtime Nights 18:00 to 03:59 Monday to Friday + 04:00 to 17:59 Saturday £39.95

The role

Requirements

You must have:

• A valid UK HGV Class 1 licence for a minimum of 6 months
• A valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 points on your licence
• 6 months of experience
• Good knowledge of drivers’ hours and Working Time rules
• A reliable and professional approach
