Job summary

Culina Group is seeking professional HGV Class 1 Drivers to join the Culina Chilled & Fresh team in Teynham, supporting our Chilled operation and delivering to key retail customers across the UK.

This permanent role offers full-time stability with duties including RDC, Farms and Packhouse deliveries. You’ll join a supportive transport team that values safe driving, reliable service and high professional standards.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 licence holder or eligibility to drive HGV Class 1 vehicles.
• Proven safe driving record and commitment to on-time deliveries.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts and routes.

Responsibilities

• Carry out safe, professional deliveries to customer premises across the UK.
• Roles include Night Outs, Trunking, and local store deliveries.
• Complete nationwide deliveries of palletised goods to RDCs, Farms and Packhouses.
• Report to Transport team at shift start and update delays or load issues.
• Complete all paperwork accurately and ensure PODs are signed and returned.
• Follow company health, safety and hygiene standards.
• Manage working time per Road Transport Directive and tachograph rules.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects; take responsibility for unit and trailer.
• Maintain professional behaviour, appearance and customer service at all times.

We’re looking for professional HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our Culina Chilled & Fresh team in Teynham supporting our Chilled operation and delivering to key retail customers across the UK.

This is a permanent role offering full-time stability for HGV Class 1 drivers who will be responsible for RDC, Farms and Packhouse deliveries. This role is ideal for a HGV driver who takes pride in safe driving, excellent customer service and dependable delivery standards. You’ll be joining a supportive transport team where safe driving, reliable service and high professional standards are valued every day.

• Sun to Weds (02:00, 14:00, 17:00
• Sun, Tues, Weds and Fri (02:00
• Tues, Thurs, Fri and Sat (02:00)
• Tuesday to Thursday (19:00 start)
• Weds to Saturday (22:00 start
• Fri, Sat and Sunday (04:00 start)
• Thurs to Sat (10:00, 13:00, 17:00 start
• Thurs to Sun (12:00 start)
• Weekend Driver shifts available

Pay rates

• Pay rates range from £15.84- £25.41per hour depending on shift, plus opportunity for overtime and subsistence allowance

What you’ll be doing:

• Carry out safe, professional deliveries to customer premises across the UK.
• We have a variety of roles available including Night Outs, Trunking,and local store deliveries.
• Complete nationwide deliveries of palletised goods to Regional Distribution Centres, Farms and Packhouses
• Report to the Transport team at the start of each shift and keep them updated on delays, delivery issues or load discrepancies.
• Complete all paperwork accurately and ensure PODs are signed and returned to the Transport Office.
• Follow company procedures, including health, safety and hygiene standards.
• Manage your working time in line with the Road Transport Directive and tachograph rules.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects correctly and take responsibility for your unit and trailer, including temperature checks where required.
• Maintain a professional standard of behaviour, appearance and customer service at all times.
