Job summary

Culina is recruiting a HGV Class 1 Driver for Teesport on a Tesco contract. This permanent full-time role offers structured shifts, modern fleet, and comprehensive training, with excellent progression opportunities across Culina Group.

Shifts include 23:00 starts Fri to Tue, with 12-hour average length. Hourly pay offers a tiered structure up to £18.10ph, plus a £5 daily meal allowance. Full uniform, DCPC training, life assurance from day one, and many employee discounts are included.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence required.
• Driver CPC qualification card required.
• Digital Tachograph card required.
• Maximum 6 penalty points; no DD or DR convictions.

Responsibilities

• Store and RDC deliveries.
• Maximum of 5 store deliveries per shift.
• Trailer swaps and drop-and-hook work.
• Vehicle checks and delivery paperwork.
• Compliance with Driver Hours and Transport Legislation.
