Job summary

Driver Require are recruiting for flexible and experienced adhoc HGV Class 1 drivers to carry out a trunking role for one of our renowned client in Swindon.

HGV Class 1 driver - Trunking work Rate ( PAYE inc. holiday pay): Day work £15.36 per hour; Night work £18.25 per hour. Start times vary from 09:00am-12:00pm with shifts based on client requirements and regular vehicle checks.

Qualifications

• Valid Driving License C+E (Class 1).
• Flexible for adhoc shifts (days and nights).
• Valid Tacho and CPC cards.
• Minimum 1 year experience driving LGV1 vehicles.
• Endorsements CU, DD, DR, IN10, TT99, CD or other major endorsements may lead to disqualification.

Responsibilities

• Trunking from depot to depot.
• Adhoc shifts based on client requirements.
• Regular completion of vehicle checks.
• Manual handling of customer products.
• Timely and efficient deliveries and transportation.
