XPO is recruiting Class 1 drivers for Ketton and one-week Monday to Friday shifts. The role offers 45 hours per week at £15.89 per hour, with overtime rates for weekends. Joining bonus £500 after a 12-week probation, plus pension and training opportunities.

Responsibilities include driving Class 1 vehicles, curtain-sided deliveries, possible night outs, and on-site loading/unloading with Epod tracking. CPC/DIGI are required.

Qualifications

• LGV C+E licence required.
• Up-to-date CPC and DIGI card required.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• No DD/DR/IN endorsements.

Responsabilités

• Safely driving HGV Class 1 vehicles in a courteous manner.
• Undertake curtain sided trailer deliveries for XPO.
• Some manual handling may be required.
• Role may include nights out each week.
• Loads loaded/unloaded by site/customers.
• Deliveries tracked with Epod technology.

How would you like a Class 1 driving job working a standard Monday to Friday shift? How about working with a modern fleet, all whilst learning new skills? Well, this is possibly the job for you! We are currently recruiting Class 1 drivers to join our team in Ketton.

You will be working Monday to Friday, 45 hours a week. We are offering an hourly rate of £15.89 per hour. Over time is payable at £21.36 for Saturdays and Sundays at £24.65. Youll also have access to a variety of high street discounts, a cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension and ongoing training including annual CPC and many other perks. You will get a joining bonus of £500 on the completion of a successful 12-week probation period.

What youll do on a typical day:

• You will be safely driving our HGV Class 1 Vehicles in a courteous manner
• Undertake curtain sided trailer deliveries on behalf of the XPO
• Some manual work may be required
• The role may include nights out each week
• All loads will be loaded/unloaded by the operating site/customers.
• All deliveries will be tracked and signed for using Epod technology

What you need to succeed at XPO:

• Valid LGV C+E Licence
• An up-to-date CPC and DIGI card
• No more than 6 points on your licence
• No DD, DR or IN endorsements showing on your licence
