Job summary

Grafters recruit are seeking experienced HGV 1 drivers for store delivery work in South Ockendon. Shifts vary and include early morning blocks with a 5/7 or fixed rota, with on average 2–4 store deliveries per shift.

The role involves a small amount of physical work with boxed goods and rails, and an assessment is paid for by the client. Benefits include on-site parking, a company pension after 3 months, ongoing work, and a supportive team environment.

Grafters recruit are looking for experienced HGV 1 drivers for our prestigious store delivery work based in South Ockendon

DUTIES:

My client is a 24/7 operating client so multiple shifts and schedules are available ranging from 03:00 10:00 and 10:00 17:00.

They offer a 5/7 rota as well as a fixed rota

You will have on average 2 / 4 store deliveries a shift

Small element of physical work with a mixture retail boxes and hanging rails

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

You will need to pass an onsite Assessment and Induction which will be paid for

• Valid HGV 1 licence, held for 12 months minimum (will consider candidates with 6 months candidates with 69 months of on-the-road experience, driving a unit and artic may be considered)
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence
• Driver CPC qualified
• Digi Tacho Card
• A Good HGV 1 Geographic knowledge
• A positive, can-do attitude
• Excellent communication skills
