Job summary

Interaction Recruitment Group is recruiting for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our client’s operation in Ockendon. This role offers regular work, competitive pay and a structured 5 over 7 rota with weekend work as standard.

Deliveries are palletised store work with a focus on safe and efficient driving. Full training is provided on site to ensure you meet the company’s high standards and comply with CPC and tachograph requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year HGV Class 1 driving experience.
• Valid HGV Class 1 (Cat C+E) licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph.
• Good knowledge of UK roads.
• Reliable and professional approach to work.
• Excellent timekeeping and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Working on a 5 over 7-day rota.
• Weekend work required as part of the rota.
• On some weekends, you may only be required to work one day.
• Delivering to approximately 2-3 stores per shift.
• All deliveries are palletised store work.
• Straightforward store deliveries with a focus on safe and efficient driving.
• Full training/induction provided on site.

Location:Ockendon
Pay:Up to £28.42 per hour
Shift Pattern:5 over 7 days
Experience Required:Minimum 1 year HGV Class 1 experience

We are currently recruiting forHGV Class 1 Driversto join our client's operation inOckendon.

The Role

• Working on a5 over 7-day rota
• Weekend work will be required as part of the rota, although you may have some full weekends off
• On some weekends, you may only be required to workone day
• Delivering to approximately2-3 stores per shift
• All deliveries arepalletised store work
• Straightforward store deliveries with a focus on safe and efficient driving
• Full training/induction provided on site

Day Rates

• 5 over 7 Days:£20.04 per hour
• 5 over 7 Saturday:£23.37 per hour
• 5 over 7 Sunday:£25.59 per hour
• Overtime:£26.05 per hour

Night Rates

• 5 over 7 Nights (Sunday-Thursday):£23.37 per hour
• 5 over 7 Friday Night:£25.59 per hour
• Overtime:£26.05 per hour
• Unsociable Hours Rate:Up to £28.42 per hour

Overtime/unsociable-hours eligibility and the £28.42 rate are subject to confirmation.
