Job summary

Grafters Recruit Ltd is seeking experienced HGV 1 drivers for store delivery work in Basildon. The role offers shifts across a 24/7 operation with starts typically between 04:00 and 20:00 on a Tue–Sat or Fri–Tue rota.

You will typically make 3–5 store deliveries per shift, with a small amount of physical work and a supportive environment. Excellent communication and a can-do attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV 1 licence held for at least 6 months.
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence.
• Driver CPC qualified and Digi Tacho Card present.
• Good geographic knowledge and a positive, can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• 3/5 store deliveries per shift.
• Cover shifts from 04:00 to 20:00, Tue–Sat or Fri–Tue rota.
• Some physical work involved.

DUTIES:

My client is a 24/7 operating client so multiple shifts and schedules are available ranging from days to start times.

preferable shifts are will however be in the range of 0400- 20.00 starts on either a Tuesday - Saturday or Friday - Tuesday Rota

You will have 3 / 5 store deliveries a shift

Small element of physical work

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

You will need to pass an onsite Assessment and Induction

• Valid HGV 1 licence,held for 6 months minimum
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence
• Driver CPC qualified
• Digi Tacho Card
• A Good HGV 1 Geographic knowledge
• A positive, can-do attitude
• Excellent communication skills
