Job summary

24-7 Recruitment Services are recruiting HGV Class 1 Driver for a client based in Coventry. This will be an ongoing opportunity for day or night drivers, a multi-drop role with handball on deliveries. Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday day shifts are available, with early mornings.

Applicants must hold a Class 1/C+E license, no more than 6 points, and have valid Tacho and CPC cards. PAYE pay rates are £18.52 for Days and £19.66 for Nights, with overtime rates after 8 hours.

Qualifications

• Hold valid Class 1 / C+E license.
• No more than 6 points (no DD/DR/TT/IN).
• Hold valid Tacho and CPC cards.

Responsibilities

• Mixture of store deliveries and deliveries to RDCs.
• On store deliveries manual handling involved (loading/unloading).

• Sunday to Thursday Days (04:00 – 06:00)
• Tuesday to Saturday Days (04:00 – 06:00)
• Sunday to Thursday Nights (14:00 – 18:00)
• Tuesday to Saturday Nights (14:00 – 18:00)

HGV Class 1 driver PAYE pay rates are:

• £18.52 Days
• £19.66 Nights
• Days Overtime after 8 hours £27.78
• Nights Overtime after 8 hours £29.49
