Job summary

Romac Logistics are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team based in Newton Aycliffe. Shift patterns include 4 on 4 off or 5 on 3 off, with starts around 14:30 to 16:00.

You will load/unload at customer locations using a PPT, perform some handball, and maintain safe driving practices while completing paperwork. We offer full training, a supportive team, progression opportunities, and a company pension.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 driving experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of driver hours and Working Time Directive (WTD).
• Reliable, punctual with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload at customer locations using an electric pump truck (PPT).
• Carry out some handball when moving pallets.
• Maintain safe driving practices and complete all paperwork accurately.
• Deliver excellent customer service at each site.
