Key responsibilities include safe driving, timely deliveries, roping and sheeting to secure loads, use of drawbar trailers, and completing vehicle checks while maintaining clear communication with customers and site teams.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 licence.
• Previous HGV Class 1 driving experience.
• Practical roping and sheeting experience.
• Experience using drawbar trailers.
• Good understanding of load security and safe vehicle operation.
• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious approach.
• Professional communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage scheduled deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and responsibly.
• Complete deliveries and collections in line with schedules.
• Carry out roping and sheeting to secure loads.
• Operate a drawbar trailer safely and efficiently.
• Complete required vehicle and delivery checks.
• Follow site, road safety and load security procedures.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate with customers and site teams.
• Report any vehicle, load or delivery issues promptly.
