Workchain is seeking an HGV Class 1 Driver in Hereford for a temporary day-shift role. You will drive safely, complete deliveries and collections, and handle loading and paperwork with a professional customer service mindset. The position offers day shifts and weekly pay, with an opportunity to be seen by local employers.

Applicants must hold HGV Class 1 entitlement and have the documentation to drive in the UK. This temporary role is paid £18–£19 per hour and scheduled for days shift.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 entitlement is required.
• Experience driving curtainsider vehicles is preferred.
• Strong understanding of vehicle safety checks and load security.
• Good knowledge of road safety and drivers’ legal responsibilities.
• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious approach is essential.
• Professional communication skills are important for customer interactions.
• Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules.

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and responsibly.
