Job summary

Peel Recruitment and Training Solutions Ltd is seeking a Class 1 Day Driver in the Runcorn area for temp-to-perm ongoing work. You will transport plastic pipes, delivering directly to customers with 2–5 stops per day, starting between 04:00–05:00 and typically working around 10 hours per day.

This role offers a £100 weekly bonus if the full week is completed without major issues, with PAYE pay rates outlined for weekdays and weekends.

Qualifications

• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in haulage.
• Maximum 6 points on licence (no DR10 or IN10).

Responsibilities

• Perform general haulage of plastic pipes for customers.
• Deliver to customers directly as required.
• Manage 2-5 deliveries per day.
• Start between 04:00–05:00 and work until finish (10-hour shifts).
• Complete weekly bonus target: £100 if the full week is completed without issues.

Job description

We're currently looking for a Class 1 Day Driver to join a well-known company based in the Runcorn area.

Temp to perm, ongoing work available.

Role Details:

• General Haulage (plastic pipes)
• Delivering directly to customers
• 2-5 deliveries per day
• Monday to Friday, start times between 04:00 - 05:00am, working till finish (45-minute break deducted)
• Average shift length: around 10 hours
• Weekly bonus: £100 per week, paid if the full week is completed without any major issues

Pay Rates (PAYE):

• Monday - Friday: £16.24
• Saturday: £18.29
• Sunday: £22.50
• Bank Holiday: £22.50
• Overtime: £18.29

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence (Category C+E)
• Valid CPC and Digital Tacho card
• Minimum 2 years' experience
• Maximum 6 points on licence (no DR10 or IN10 codes)
