Job summary

Pin Point Recruitment is seeking Class 1 HGV Drivers for day shifts in Croydon. This ongoing role offers regular hours and the chance to move to permanent employment for the right candidate.

Drivers will operate for a busy logistics operation, complete deliveries, and conduct vehicle checks while ensuring loads are secured safely. Weekly pay and immediate starts are available for successful applicants.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence is required.
• Driver CPC qualification is required.
• Digital Tachograph Card is required.
• Minimum 6 months Class 1 driving experience preferred.
• No more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD or IN).
• Good knowledge of Drivers' Hours Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled deliveries and collections.
• Conduct daily vehicle walk-round checks.
• Ensure loads are secured before transport.
• Complete delivery paperwork and PODs accurately.
• Maintain compliance with Drivers' Hours Regulations and Working Time Directive.
• Provide excellent customer service at delivery points.

Pin Point Recruitment is currently recruiting Class 1 HGV Drivers on behalf of a busy logistics operation for ongoing day shift work based in Croydon.

Duties Include

• Completing scheduled deliveries and collections.
• Conducting daily vehicle walk-round checks.
• Ensuring loads are secured safely before transport.
• Completing delivery paperwork and PODs accurately.
• Maintaining compliance with Drivers' Hours Regulations and Working Time Directive.
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery points.
• Reporting any vehicle defects or delivery issues promptly.
• Working safely and professionally at all times.

Requirements

• Valid UK Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 6 months' Class 1 driving experience preferred.
