Job summary

The Staffing Network Limited is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join a busy transport operation delivering timber products across the UK using curtain-side and flatbed trailers.

Applicants must hold a UK LGV C+E licence (no more than 6 penalty points), a DQC and a Digicard. The role offers a basic 48-hour week with overtime at £18.70 per hour and a night-out allowance of £24 per night.

Qualifications

• UK LGV C+E (HGV 1) licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• No IN/DR codes allowed.
• DQC and Digicard required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver timber products to customers across the UK.
• Operate curtain-side and flatbed trailers.
• Secure loads and ensure safe handling of freight.
• Occasional nights away as part of a nationwide schedule.

Job description

Pay: £17.00 ( £19.05 inc hol ) per hour + overtime + night-out allowance (£26.20 plus parking & expenses )

HGV Class 1 ( LGV C+E ) Drivers required to join a busy transport operation carrying out nationwide deliveries.

This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and experienced Class 1 drivers who are comfortable with multi-drop work, nationwide travel and occasional nights away.

The Role

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering timber products to customers across the UK using curtain-side and flatbed trailers.

Due to the nature of the loads, previous experience strapping and securing loads is essential.

Pay & Hours

• £17.00 ( £19.05 inc hol ) per hour

• Basic 48-hour working week

• £18.70 ( £20.96 inc hol ) per hour overtime rate for hours worked over 51.75 hours per week

• £24 night-out allowance for each night away

What We're Looking For

Successful applicants will need:

• UK LGV C+E ( HGV 1 ) driving licence - not more than 6 penalty points, No IN / DR codes
