Job summary

Workforce Staffing is recruiting for reliable Class 1 General Haulage Drivers for Derby. This night-shift role offers a night rate of £17 per hour, or £19.50 rolled, with weekly bookings and steady, ongoing work.

You will carry out daily vehicle checks, transport goods across the UK, complete logs and documentation, and maintain high customer service standards while on site. Minimum 1 year Class 1 experience and no more than 6 points on licence are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Class 1 driving experience.
• Maximum 6 points on licence.
• Strong work ethic, reliability and safety focus.

What you'll be doing day-to-day:

• Carrying out daily vehicle checks to ensure trucks are safe and roadworthy
• Transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately, including logs, delivery notes, and any other documentation
• Maintaining high standards of professionalism and customer service when on-site
• Reporting any vehicle issues or incidents promptly
