Job summary

Culina Group is looking for permanent HGV Class 1 drivers to join our Carlisle depot to support the General Haulage operation, delivering to RDCs, distribution centres and retail stores across the region.

You will perform store collections, assist with loading, complete daily vehicle checks and transport documentation, and maintain high standards of safety, compliance and professionalism in partnership with the Transport Team.

Responsibilities

• Delivering to RDCs, distribution centres and retail stores across the region.
• Store collections for delivery to factories and distribution centres.
• Occasional loading and unloading of cages as part of store delivery activities.
• Completing daily vehicle checks and transport documentation.
• Maintaining high standards of safety, compliance and professionalism.
• Working closely with the Transport Team to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Adhering to Drivers’ Hours, Working Time Directive and Tachograph legislation at all times.

Pay Rates

Day Shift Rates

• Monday to Friday Days – £14.60 per hour
• Saturday & Sunday Days – £17.60 per hour
