Job summary

Culina Group Limited is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers to join the Morrisons RDC in Burton Latimer. You will drive safely, deliver to customers, and maintain high standards of service and compliance.

Shifts available: Wednesday to Sunday or Thursday to Monday with day or night starts. Overtime paid after 45 hours. Earn competitive hourly rates plus shift premiums and a range of benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid C+E licence and ideally a minimum of 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience.
• No more than 6 points and no DD/ DR convictions.
• Hold a current DCPC & Tachograph cards.
• Understand and comply with Driver’s hours and WTD legislation.
• Carry out vehicle checks and report defects correctly.

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV Class 1 lorries to deliver to customers safely.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and professional conduct.
• Ensure compliance with transport regulations and vehicle checks.

Job Description

We're recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our team at the Morrisons RDC in Burton Latimer. This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers who take pride in safe driving, delivering high standards of customer service, and maintaining excellent compliance standards.

Available Shift Patterns

• Wednesday to Sunday
• Thursday to Monday

Start Times

Days: 11:00 - 15:00 starts

Nights: 22:00 - 02:00 starts

Pay & Benefits

Hourly Rates

• Days: £18.49 per hour
• Nights: £18.49 per hour

Overtime

• £27.75 per hour after 45 hours worked

Premium Payments

In addition to your hourly rate:

• Night Shift Premium: £20.28 per shift
• Saturday Premium: £16.25 per shift
• Sunday Premium: £33.26 per shift

Qualifications

• You should hold a valid C+E Licence and ideally have a minimum of 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience (We will consider New Pass Drivers)
• No more than 6 points and no DD/ DR Code convictions.
• Hold a current valid DCPC & Tacho cards.
• Understand and able to comply with Driver’s hours and WTD legislation.
• Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly.
• Should comply with on-site health and safety requirements.
• Excellent communication skills.
