Job summary

Stobart (Part of the Culina Group) is seeking a permanent full-time HGV driver for night shifts in Wakefield. You will perform general haulage and distribution, delivering to RDCs, retail stores and customer sites, and complete vehicle checks and delivery paperwork.

The role requires a valid C+E licence, DCPC and Tachograph cards, up to 6 points, and knowledge of driver hours and WTD legislation. Night rates apply with additional bank holiday pay.

Qualifications

• Valid C+E licence holder with DCPC and Tachograph cards.
• Minimum 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience.
• No more than 6 points and no DD/ DR convictions.
• Understand and comply with Driver hours and WTD legislation.

What You'll Be Doing

• General haulage and distribution work
• Delivering to RDCs, retail stores, and customer sites
• Completing vehicle checks and delivery paperwork
• Ensuring full compliance with driver hours and transport legislation
• Always working safely and professionally

Pay Rates

• Monday to Friday Nights: £16.35 per hour
• Saturday Nights: £18.65 per hour
• Sunday Nights: £18.65 per hour
• Bank Holidays: £18.96 per hour

Qualifications

• You should hold a valid C+E Licence and ideally have a minimum of 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience
• No more than 6 points
• No DD/ DR Code convictions.
• Hold a current valid DCPC & Tacho cards.
• Understand and able to comply with Driver’s hours and WTD legislation
