Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-known distribution business based in Bristol to hire HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers on a temporary basis. Location: Bristol. Pay Rate: £17.50 per hour PAYE.

Hours are Monday to Friday with a 04:30am start and a finish around 14:30pm. The role involves trunking between client hubs, up to 2 runs per shift and occasional collections, plus carrying out vehicle checks, completing paperwork, and ensuring compliance with driver hours and WTD

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Minimum 3 months driving experience.
• Maximum 6 points for minor offences only.
• Valid CPC and Digi Card.
• Good understanding of driver hours and regulations.
• Reliable, professional and flexible attitude.

Responsibilities

• Completing trunking work between the client's hubs.
• Carrying out up to 2 runs per shift with occasional backhaul collection.
• Ensuring deliveries and collections are completed safely and on time.
• Carrying out all required vehicle checks before and after each shift.
• Completing all paperwork accurately.
• Ensuring compliance with driver hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Maintaining a professional approach at all times.

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-known and established distribution business based in Bristol. We are looking for HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join the team on a temp basis.

Location: Bristol

Job Type: Temporary with a potential of ongoing work

Pay Rate: £17.50 per hour PAYE

Hours & Shift Patterns:

• Monday to Friday
• 04:30am start until around 14:30pm

The Role:

• Completing trunking work between the client's hubs
• Completing up to 2 runs per shift and then on occasions a collection on the way back
• Ensuring all deliveries and collections are completed safely and on time
• Carrying out all required vehicle checks before and after each shift
• Completing all necessary paperwork accurately
• Ensuring compliance with driver hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Maintaining a professional approach at all times

Requirements:
