Job summary

InstaStaff are recruiting a Class 1 Driver to join a hire company on a permanent basis. You will be transporting heavy haulage and wide loads, dropping and picking up machinery to construction sites, with Midlands and wider UK coverage.

Hours are 7am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, with potential occasional overnight stays in the future. A Class 1 licence and experience in wide loads are essential; CSCS card would be beneficial.

Qualifications

• Class 1 licence required.
• Experience transporting heavy haulage machinery.
• Experience with wide loads.
• CSCS card would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Dropping and picking up machinery from construction sites.
• Covering the Midlands and wider UK.
• Transferring stock between 16 UK depos.
• 2 - 3 drops/ collections daily.
• The occasional overnight in the future.

The duties of the Class 1 Driver will be:

• Dropping and picking up machinery from construction sites
• Covering the Midlands and greater UK
• Transferring stock between 16 UK depos
• 2 - 3 drops/ collections daily
• The occasional overnight in the future
• Experience of wide loads and heavy haulage machine transport

The ideal Class 1 Driver will be:

• Class 1 licence
• Heavy haulage machinery transport experience
• Wide load experience
• CSCS card would be beneficial

The salary for the Class 1 Driver will be £35,000 - £37,000 per year

Hours of work for the Class 1 Driver will be 7am - 4pm Monday - Friday
