Job summary

Rapier Employment Limited is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers for a major logistics operation in Bradford. Roles offer long-term ongoing work with excellent pay, overtime opportunities and flexible shifts to suit you, including days or nights and at least one weekend day.

Driver duties include deliveries to RDCs and stores, occasional tail-lift handling, vehicle checks and compliance with hours rules. Competitive PAYE rates apply with rolled-up holiday pay option.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence held for a minimum of 12 months.
• Minimum 3 months commercial Class 1 driving experience.
• Positive, professional attitude.
• No more than 6 penalty points.

Responsibilities

• Deliveries to RDCs and retail stores across the region.
• Unloading cages using a tail lift where required.
• Completing vehicle checks and defect reporting.

Earn up to £30.01 per hour PAYE (£33.63 including optional rolled-up holiday pay)

Rapier Employment is currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for a leading logistics operation in Bradford.

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering goods to RDCs and retail stores across the region. Some store deliveries will involve moving cages and the use of tail-lift equipment, so a reasonable level of physical fitness is required.

Duties Include

• Deliveries to RDCs and retail stores
• Unloading cages using a tail lift where required
• Completing vehicle checks and defect reporting
• Maintaining compliance with driver's hours and road transport legislation

Please note: Drivers must be available to work at least one weekend day.

Day Shifts

Start Times: 04:00 - 09:00

• £20.81 per hour including optional rolled-up holiday pay
• Overtime after 8 hours: £27.85 per hour PAYE
• £31.21 per hour including optional rolled-up holiday pay

Night Shifts

Start Times: 15:00 - 21:00

• £22.42 per hour including optional rolled-up holiday pay
• Overtime after 8 hours: £30.01 per hour PAYE
• £33.63 per hour including optional rolled-up holiday pay

What We're Looking For

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence held for a minimum of 12 months
