Job summary

Rapier Employment Limited in Wakefield is seeking an HGV Class 1 driver for our busy client. This long-term, ongoing role requires weekend work and involves delivering to RDCs and stores, with some manual handling using tail lifts.

You must hold an HGV C+E licence with at least 6 months experience, have a Digital Tachograph Card and CPC qualification, and be prepared for early starts (days 02:00–09:00) or late starts (nights 13:00–21:00). Vehicle checks and adherence to safety are essential.

Qualifications

• Held HGV C+E licence for at least 6 months.
• No DR10's No CD10's No IN10's - NO MORE THAN 6 POINTS
• Digital Tachograph Card and CPC qualification

Any shift to include a weekend day.

This role does require some manual handling of cages and tail lift work.

Responsibilities

• Delivering to RDCs and stores.
• Stores deliveries will be unloading using tail lift and cages.
• Vehicle checks
• Shift patterns to suit but a weekend shift is preferred.

Days

• Days: 02:00-09:00 starts

Nights

• Nights: 13:00-21:00 starts

Rates are the same Monday - Sunday.
