Job summary

Rapier Employment are seeking an HGV Class 1 driver for our Bradford client. This long-term role requires weekend shifts and involves manual handling of cages and tail lift work.

Responsibilities include delivering to RDCs/stores, unloading with tail lift, performing vehicle checks, and adapting shift patterns to cover weekends. Ideal candidates will hold an HGV C+E licence for at least 12 months, have 3 months of commercial driving experience for insurance purposes, and possess a Digital

• HGV C+E licence held for at least 12 months.
• CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence; insurance requirements.
• Willingness to work weekends and shift patterns.

Job description

Rapier Employment are currently seeking an HGV Class 1 driver for our busy client in Bradford. This role will be long term ongoing for the right candidates.

Any shift to include a weekend day.

This role does require some manual handling of cages and tail lift work.

Responsibilities will include:

• Delivering to RDCs and stores.
• Stores deliveries will be unloading using tail lift and cages.
• Vehicle checks
• Shift patterns to suit but a weekend shift is preferred.

Days

• £18.57 per hour PAYE
• Over time £27.85ph after 8 hours
• Rolled up holiday pay – Days - £21.85ph
• Rolled up holiday pay – Days OT - £32.78ph

Nights

• £20.01per hour PAYE
• Over time £30.01ph after 8 hours
• Rolled up holiday pay – Nights - £24.40ph
• Rolled up holiday pay – Nights - £35.44ph

Rates are the same Monday – Sunday.

The ideal candidate.

• Held your HGV C+E licence for at least 12 months
• You must have at least 3 months commercial experience for insurance purposes
• No DR10’s No CD10’s No IN10’s - NO MORE THAN 6 POINTS
• Digital Tachograph Card and CPC qualification
