Job summary

QS Recruitment is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for an established transport operation in the Belper / Ambergate area for regular night trunking work.

This trunking role is depot-to-depot with no unloading, Monday to Friday nights, paying £17 per hour and up to 28 days’ holiday pro rata when paid via PAYE.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC Card.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Trunking or pallet network experience is advantageous.
• Reliable and professional approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Completing pallet trunking runs between depots.
• Transporting goods safely and efficiently.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects.
• Following road transport legislation and company procedures.
• Maintaining high Health & Safety standards.
• Completing depot-to-depot trunking with no multi-drop deliveries.
• No handballing or manual unloading.

Are you an experienced Class 1 driver looking for regular night work without multi-drop deliveries or handballing? We’re currently recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for an established transport operation in the Belper / Ambergate area.

This is a straightforward trunking position, ideal for drivers who prefer depot-to-depot work and want consistent Monday to Friday shifts without the physical demands of unloading goods.

The Role

As a Class 1 Driver, your responsibilities will include:

• Completing pallet trunking runs between depots
• Transporting goods safely and efficiently
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
• Following road transport legislation and company procedures
• Maintaining high Health & Safety standards
• Completing depot-to-depot trunking with no multi-drop deliveries
• No handballing or manual unloading
