Pay Rates (Paid Weekly)

The rates of pay are £16.25 - £23.99 per hour. ADHOC and Pre‑booked shifts are available.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs to ensure roadworthiness.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, logbooks, and other necessary paperwork in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence, DCPC & Tacho cards.
• Have a minimum of 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience with no more than 6 points, no DD/DR Code convictions.
• Understand and be able to comply with the driver's hours and WTD legislation.
• Applicants must comply with on‑site health and safety requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to carry out necessary vehicle checks and report defects correctly.
