Job summary

The Best Connection Group Limited currently seeks Class 1 HGV Drivers for ongoing contracts across Preston, Blackpool and Lancaster. Attractive hourly pay from £16.50 to £26.25, with holiday pay accrual and a contributory pension. Shifts include day and night, with overtime opportunities and PAYE payroll.

Registration and payslips are provided. Roles cover linehaul and bulk night runs with safe loading, securing and paperwork completion, plus daily vehicle checks and compliance with drivers'

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 or Class 2 licence required.
• 6–12 months driving experience preferred.
• Good understanding of drivers' hours and regulations.
• Reliable and professional attitude essential.

Responsibilities

• Work involves day & night shifts across Preston, Blackpool and Lancaster.
• Safe loading, securing and transportation of goods.
• Vehicle checks and daily walkarounds.
• Complete deliveries and paperwork professionally.
• Follow drivers' hours rules and company procedures.

CLASS 1 HGV DRIVERS WANTED - PRESTON, BLACKPOOL & LANCASTER

Days & Nights | Ongoing Work | £16.50-£26.25 per hour

We are currently looking for Class 1 HGV Drivers for a range of contracts across Preston, Blackpool & Lancaster.

Holiday pay is accrued separately, so you can be paid for the holidays you take.

THE ROLE:

A variety of local and nationwide Class 1 work is available, including:

• Day & night shifts
• Linehaul & bulk night runs - no handball!
• Safe loading, securing & transportation of goods
• Vehicle checks & daily walkarounds
• Completing deliveries and paperwork professionally
• Following drivers' hours, safety & company procedures

REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid Class 1 or Class 2 licence
