Job summary

Kinaxia Logistics in Colchester is hiring HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our team. This role offers day shifts, Monday to Friday, at £16.75 per hour, with weekends included.

You will perform daily vehicle checks, ensure timely deliveries, follow the Highway Code, and maintain safety standards. A valid LGV C+E licence, Driver CPC, and tachograph card are required; we offer life assurance, pension, PPE, onsite parking and more.

Qualifications

• Valid LGV C+E (Class 1) licence.
• Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC) is required.
• Digital tachograph card is required.
• Good communication skills.
• Reliable, professional and positive approach.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily vehicle checks to ensure safety and roadworthiness.
• Arrive on time and keep the traffic office informed of issues.
• Follow company procedures, customer requirements and the Highway Code.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times.
• Complete deliveries and collections as scheduled.
• Comply with EU tachograph and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Keep your vehicle clean, tidy and well maintained.

Your Role

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring goods are delivered safely and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:
